From the new year, Eilish McGuiness will become the Chief Executive of NHMF and The National Lottery Heritage Fund, taking over from Ros Kerslake CBE who is stepping down at the end of 2021. 

Thanks to a £11,100 National Heritage Memorial Fund (NHMF) grant announced today, seven separate prehistoric hoards discovered in north Shropshire will join the permanent collection of Shropshire Museums.

Thanks to support of over £370,000 from the National Heritage Memorial Fund, Kettle’s Yard, University of Cambridge and Tate have jointly acquired three important and rare sketchbooks by the self-taught artist and mariner Alfred Wallis (1855-1942).
