Powis Castle Clive Museum Chattels

Acquisition of part of the collections in the Clive Museum at Powis Castle that had remained in the ownership of the descendants of the 18th century soldier-statesman Robert Clive (1725-74), known as Clive of India. The items include 19th century Indian weaponry and a tent and other objects once belonging to Tipu Sahib.
